Wayne van der Vent joined PIC in 2005 and is Head of the Property Investments division who manages a portfolio of R24 billion – spilt between directly held properties (25%), listed (10%) and unlisted unitized property (65%). The day-to-day property management rests with the recently acquired CBS Properties. The PIC’s internal team focuses on the asset management of the property investments which entails monitoring the performance of the outsourced property managers, ensuring optimal returns, identify acquisition opportunities and benchmarking the performance of the portfolio against similar investments in the market.

 

 

Qualifications:
BA (Law), University of Cape Town (Majored in Politics and Private Law)
